This course covers the requirements for the establishment, maintenance, and monitoring of a respirator program. This course will discuss how the human respiratory system works, respiratory hazards, qualitative-fit and Quantitative fit testing, the purpose of respiratory protection, different types of respirators and their purposes, and the appropriate use, inspection, cleaning and storage of respirators. Regulation 833 and O.Reg.490/09. Also covered in the program are the CSA standards Z94.4 (Selection use and care of respirators) and Z180.1 (Compressed breathing air and systems).

*Translator: If you require a translator, you must notify us prior to booking. Without advance notice, entry will be denied. Phones are not permitted to use during class for any reason, including translation.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the class. No-shows and late arrivals will be charged the full class fee of $250.
